What is Help Through Crisis?

This is a service targeted at London Borough of Ealing residents who find themselves in a food or housing crisis, meaning they are either running out of food and/or about to lose their home. This is funded by The National Lottery with our partners Ealing and Hounslow Community Voluntary Service, Ealing Law Centre and Ealing Foodbank.

We engage people in a longer programme around resolving the immediate crisis and then ensuring it does not arise again, by for instance applying for the right benefits, appealing housing decisions or court decisions, connecting to employment training and health support, or building up skills and resilience to ensure the crisis does not return.

We have been part of this excellent programme for 5 years, helped over 1000 clients, and continue to improve, adjust, train and discover so that HTC clients can benefit from the very best support around.
